First Night without Daddy

Carly and I have spent our first night without Daddy at home. James had to go to the coast for a Society of American Foresters convention on Wednesday. So Wed. and Thursday night we are on our own. So far we are making it fine, but bath time is alot easier when Daddy is at home! We miss him and are ready for him to come home!!!

We are looking forward to a visit from Kenny at lunch on Friday and for Erin to come visit Friday night!!!

First Blog

I don't know how I am going to do with this blogging thing, but I am going to give it a try. As most of you know, mine and James' life has recently been changed forever with the birth of our little girl, Carly Jane. We have been blessed beyond imagination with this perfectly healthy little girl. This blog's main purpose it to keep our family and friends updated on what is going on in her life.

My, how time flies when you are having fun.... Carly Jane turned 4 weeks old today! It seems as if she has been with us forever, then again, it seems like only a moment ago that we were in the hospital having her. She has been a very good baby - she only fusses when she is hungry, wet, or has a tummy ache. We have had issues with constipation, but hopefully we are on the road to getting that straightened out.

I am going to post some pictures to update you on the first 4 weeks of her life. Check back later for more updates.
